The food and service were top notch. The problem came when we tried to pay the bill. We'd paid £100. Deposit and although when the bill came and it showed the £100 had been taken off, we were paying individually and all the dishes were being charged at full price which meant the deposits hadn't been taken off the bill. We went to my birthday dinner today. we five (2 adults, 3 children) in the age of 15, 14 11 and our two mothers. the first time I've been here since the tipsy was toad. the whole pub was really nice. cozy seating, good decor perfectly mix old and new and a really delicious menu along with friendly, helpful service and very important, clean, beautiful toilets!
Fantastic meal for 8 of us on Mother's Day. we all enjoyed the wonderful food, much veg and very generous portion size. good friendly service, in a beautiful location. in any case recommend , will be safe again!
That was probably as good as a pint of timothy taylors as I've ever had. eating is always excellent, the scotch eggs are great and the deserts are from this world. highly recommended.
Great eating, went as a party of 8 on a Sunday, did not feel like a full roast, was really happy to see some good alternatives, delicious bbq ripening and all that had a frying it loved. excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff.
