However, others praised the delicious food, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere. Some customers were impressed by the Sunday roast, burgers, and fish and chips, while others found the meals overpriced. Despite some inconsistencies, many enjoyed their visit and commended the staff for their attentiveness and hospitality. With mixed reviews, The Three Crowns seems to be making strides to improve and delight customers with their offerings.
Lovely Sunday Lunch today. I had the prawn cocktail followed by roast leg of lamb served with a variety of fresh vegetable my husband had the mushroom soup followed by roast beef also served with fresh vegetables. Lovely friendly service. The telephone number has changed its now 01666 846337.
Great food at this lovely village pub. Under new management, the correct phone number is 01666 846 337….we almost didn’t go thinking it was shut it isn’t, I’m so glad we stopped by! Superb steak, handcut triple cooked chips, slow cooked lamb, fab veggies, great deserts, all that we ate was very good gastro pub food. Friendly service, good atmosphere. Will be back!!
The roast beef and roast potatoes were excellent, cooked beautifully and hot. The rest of the vegetables were not particularly hot and the dish for 4 people was the same size as the dish of vegetable served to a table of 2. The service was a bit chaotic with several people attending to us resulting in a bit of a wait to place our order as each person serving thought somebody else had taken our order. There was also a long wait between courses. We will eat here again as we want to support our local pub and the new team.
Wow beautiful food. The best Sunday roast eaten here for some while. Will certainly return and will reccomend to all I meet. Keep uo the goid work Susan,Giles and team.
The best Sunday lunch! I’ve lived in the village for 9 years and this was the best Sunday lunch I’ve had. Beef was tender, potatoes and cauliflower cheese to die for.
