Better than average pub food from this excellent establishment. Cheery polite service. Benchmark test of a burger the kitchen passed with flying colours
We stayed here over Easter weekend and absolutely loved this place. Reasonably priced luxurious experience with charming decor in a historic pub. Wonderful food in the restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Fabulous location by the Longleat estate with loads of great walks nearby. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all friendly. The outside terrace is so nice. They have a little spa room there and my wife enjoyed a treatment. We are hoping to return to the area and maybe stay in one of the Beckford group’s other places.
Great place, good food, excellent staff, good local beer.
Only visited for a meal so can't comment on the rooms. Food was excellent as was the beer. Walking distance from Longleat house up the drive.
What a gorgeous place to find. Beautiful setting with lots of county walks. Gorgeous building with lots of different seating areas inside and outside. The food was amazing infact the best food I have eaten for a very long while, quality ingredients and a brilliant chef. Drink prices were reasonable too. I had a really good massage in the shepherds hut in the grounds which was lovely. A very dog friendly and warm welcoming hotel that I highly recommend.
