Arrived just after opening on a Monday evening and the place was very quiet. We had a warm welcome and had a pick of the tables. Service was excellent even though the place stared to get busier. The bread and oil was my choice of starters which was very fresh and tasteful. For my main I had the risotto. This was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The table across from us had pizzas which looked amazing (food envy). I... View all feedback.
What JoRaDaEs doesn't like about La Passione:
We were in Cirencester and looking for somewhere to eat. My wife loves Italian food, and this place had good reviews. The food was good, but portion sizes (given cost) were below what I would have expected; so much so that I had to eat something else after we left the restaurant. The service was lacking as well, nothing rude but just non-interested, hardly said a word. Won’t be rushing back if I’m Cirencester again. View all feedback.

Food in general was received well. However the spaghetti Fruttis masa (spaghetti, mussels and prawns) left a lot to be desired. Would not recommend. Prawns were chewy an tasteless. As were the mussels to. Do not recommend sea food at this restaurant. Was definitely frozen.
Delicious food with generous portions. Really excellent Italian food. Wide ranging menu with pasta dishes and pizza along with house specialities. Prawns and salmon were excellent. Teenage grandson really enjoyed the pizza.
We booked a table for 6.30 on a Saturday night and arrived to find the restaurant approximately three quarters full. The staff were polite and attentive but not pushy or over-bearing.We both started with a generous portion of whitebait, followed by spaghetti carbonara which was very tasty and well-presented.I finished with a dessert of home-made profiteroles. There was a good atmosphere within the establishment and it was consistently busy throughout our visit. The food and wine were also,in my opinion, reasonably priced.Overall first class.
Whent there tonight with the family for a meal it was the first time we had been there food was very good and so was the service I will be returning when back in Chippenham
