Contribute FeedbackHaques, a restaurant in Corsham, has received mixed reviews. While some customers praised the delicious food and attentive service, others expressed concerns about COVID-19 safety measures. One customer was uncomfortable with the lack of mask-wearing among staff, while another was disappointed with the quality and pricing of the food. However, many diners enjoyed their meals and appreciated the efforts of the owner and staff. Despite the varying opinions, Haques seems to have a loyal customer base who value the taste and service provided by the restaurant.
We had a wonderful meal with excellent service at this restaurant. The owner was very attentive and handled a busy night with ease. The Ceylon chicken curry was outstanding, my wife loved it. The prices were reasonable as well. We wish we lived closer to Corsham so we could become regular customers.
I recently had the most beautiful experience at a restaurant in Corsham. The young man who welcomed us gave us excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this place, the food was delicious and both my children loved it as well. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. I give them a perfect 10 out of 10. Thank you, Haques!
The food was delicious and we had a great meal, despite the slow service. However, we were disappointed to see that the prices on the bill had been raised without any notice. There was a small note on one of the menus that mentioned a surcharge for the main course, but we were not informed about it beforehand. We refused to pay the extra charge, which was reluctantly removed.
Lamb vindaloo, reis and swirl. 13,80 € okay, a bit expensive, but I want to support local people. reis and bhajees were in order, not complaining. lamb vindaloo was essentially a potato curry with four small, almost indestructible, pieces lamb. sauce not hot and avoid any...chillies.
Had a takeaway with family in the garden tonight and was looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate being able to meet up. Chose the special dish of king prawn tandoori masala at a cost of £15.50 Whilst I thought this was expensive I...assumed at that rate it would be a reasonable dish of largeish prawns and it did include rice. Most of the dish was prawn shell, hardly any flesh at all and they forgot the rice just to make it even worse value. The onion bhaji were greasy and over cooked. I felt really ripped off and wont bother again.
