While some patrons enjoy the food and atmosphere, many express disappointment with the staff's lack of enthusiasm and rudeness, particularly highlighting poor wine options and abrupt service. However, there are glimmers of hope as a few recent visits noted friendly and attentive staff, creating a memorable dining experience. Despite mixed reviews, the ambiance and location remain appealing, suggesting that with improved customer service, this spot could transform into a cherished local gem once more.
A pleasant canal side inn, which serves a delicious breakfast. the complete English breakfast is enough to set it up for the rest of the day and full of taste, where like the touch on toast is practical for those of us with smaller insults. (satisfied the dead would have been more pale if he had been throttled). the personal is friendly, courtesy and professional. the toilets are immaculately clean, always a good sign while eating. the management meets all the precautions to minimize the spread of Covid-19. Very friendly staff. we had 2 roast beef meat lunch, very tasty and very full! great place to eat, next to the canal.
Staff very friendly, service excellent. we had the Sunday fried for money, decent portions, beautiful fresh vegetables and the meat was of great quality. good selection of beer and in a beautiful location, will definitely return when in the opposite.
Sunday for lunch, that was his 11th birthday. our waitress was fantastic. I didn't get her name, but she was big with red/pure hair. the food was great and my son got exactly what he ordered, because he didn't want everything listed on the menu for his dish. I had a nice roast that arrived fast. very impressed
