We stopped off here on a long car journey for a couple of drinks and felt like we had struck gold. The pub is really lovely, ample parking, very friendly lady behind the bar and they do really nice takeaway tea with Teapigs teabags! View all feedback.
What derrickc572 doesn't like about Bell Inn, Wylye:
We stopped by as it was the only place open on a Sunday evening on our route home. A charming little pub with a great atmosphere. We both enjoyed a fantastic pizza followed by a lovely brownie dessert. Apparently their regular chef was absent but you wouldn't have known! Definitely going to return to try the wholemenu! I had my birthday meal at this charming pub tonight. It was an absolute gem! The food was delicious, and the local Wylye Fox gin was amazing. We will definitely be returning, even if it's just for the gin. The owners were friendly, the fireplace was cozy, and the atmosphere was welcoming. And the chocolate torte was absolutely delicious.
We sat by the cozy fire on a cold winter evening, enjoying each other's company. We sipped on delicious beer and indulged in a great hake dish and a tasty fish pie.
The perfect stop off after a long drive. Fantastic Sunday roast, with good portion sizes. Lovely, smiley and welcoming staff. It was busy, but it's not surprising given the high standards of service would highly recommend this pub.
First time visiting and would definitely return! Fabulous Sunday roast and attentive service Infront of a roaring wood fire. Fantastic way to spend a December afternoon!
Darcy and the staff are lovely, so welcoming. My family discovered The Bell Inn after lockdown was lifted in 2020 and we continue to meet up on a regular basis. The food is always tasty, we all had Sunday roast today which was delicious.
