Frontier Restaurant - Wiltondale

I went to this small restaurant and found it to be very nice with great food. The drinks were also very good. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. The service was quick too. I recommend trying the moose burger, although I personally did not try it.

Avoid this greasy spoon diner located on the side of the highway near Gros Morne Park. The poor customer service made it seem like they were doing us a favor by serving us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My title is extreme but for sure dead on , this restaurant experience me and my fiancé had was absolutely terrible from start to finish. I 'll start with the service , as we entered the elderly lady never said anything , it was just silence until she had taken our order , she took our order and ran off again, throughout the meal she never once came down and asked how everything was or if we wanted anything else . The whole experience was just awkward because of it. Now to start with the food , I ordered the cheeseburger platter and my fiancé ordered the famous moose dinner , the so homecooked burger was a frozen store bought burger . My fiancés moose was nothing but fat and grizzle. We both agreed that the fries were absolutely terrible and cooked in old fat. There was carrots that was served with the moose dinner that clearly were really old and had been refrigerated for a long long time. Honestly the only thing that was good about our meal was the homemade bread roll that was served . For what me and my fiancé had at this restaurant it was absolutely overpriced . Garbage food , over priced and poor service at its finest.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to Cow Head, Famished and it was there. Pretty non discript from the outside but sure glad we stopped. A large group of cyclist had just got there, but we had our beers, menu and waters delivered in the blink of and eye, she was pretty efficient. I had the cod au gratin and hubby the pan fried cod dinner. The best we have had on our travels yet!!! We were in and out with a full belly and smile on our face within an hour. (We had a bagel and cream cheese take longer in Rocky Hrb) Stop in, I don't think you will regret it.

Friendly staff, limited menu. Everything was prepared quickly and tasted good. I would think this would be a great place to get dinner and have a beer.
