we thought here was a quick dinner on our trip to ny. it was in a very residential neighborhood. the only restaurant that was open. there was only another party in the restaurant, so we were skeptical. but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of their signature roles. flavours work together well. also the best crawling goons we've ever had! This restaurant was very bad. The food was overpriced, with $60 spent on just one carton of pork Lo-mein, one sesame chicken dish, 6 small dumplings, and a small portion of rice. The rice was dry and flavorless, the Lo-mein tasted like cleaning spray, and there was hardly any meat or vegetables. I have always found the food at this restaurant to be fresh and delicious. However, I would not recommend ordering the tempura for delivery as it tends to lose its crispiness.
This is the worst pineapple fried rice I have ever had. I will not be returning.
I visited Reiki Sushi Asian Bistro in the Wilton area for dinner and had a great experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. The sushi was fresh and the tofu teriyaki was exceptional. I also tried the shrimp udon and drunken noodle, both of which were tasty. The restaurant is kid-friendly with a good kids menu and drink choices available.
The sushi doesn't taste as fresh as it used to, and last time I was in the restaurant, I noticed a fishy smell. I believe the quality has decreased since the change in ownership. Unfortunately, there are no vegetarian options available.
The sushi lunch special offers great value and the takeout packaging was excellent. Ordering online also comes with a text notification when your order is ready. The food was delicious.
