My boyfriend and I visited recently, and it was an amazing experience. It was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices on the menu and how delicious our food was. The place wasn't very busy when we went, but the guy working that day was incredibly friendly and enjoyable to chat with. This spot is a perfect 10/10 for hanging out and grabbing a bite, and I definitely plan to return soon!
I'm sure it was probably worth the wait however it was just too crowded during the Founders Day celebration today to get an order in.
Stopped in on the way back from Iowa City. Read about it but never stopped. Nice and nostalgic. Reminds me of my youth. Got a countertop with stools. And a small museum in the back.
This place is a priceless historical artifact. An old fashioned soda fountain and museum. Ice cream treats are delicious. The rest of the food is unspectacular but perfectly acceptable. The single unisex bathroom is spectacularly tiny, but that's all just part of the charm. Pretty spectacular patriotic mural on the side of the building.
