Every year for my birthday, I choose to dine at Red Robin. However, this particular location has completely ruined the experience for me. The service was subpar, overcharged us, and was nowhere to be found when we needed more drinks or sides. Every year for my birthday, I choose to dine at Red Robin. However, this particular location has completely ruined the experience for me. The service was subpar, overcharged us, and was nowhere to be found when we needed more drinks or sides. To make matters worse, they were outside smoking with coworkers instead of attending to their customers. I left feeling disappointed.
I'm not sure if they are always short-staffed or if they just prefer to work at a slower pace, but either way, it takes a long time to receive your food. There have been instances where I have realized halfway to my car that they forgot part of my order, forcing me to return. On one occasion, I arrived at the store half an hour after my food was supposed to be ready, only to find it still wasn't prepared and the tables were not even close to being full. While the food is consistently good and deserves 3 stars, the service falls short due to frequent mistakes and slow service. The management team needs to reevaluate their practices in order to improve.
