Our party had the Rueben sandwich with house made onion rings, the bacon cheese burger with house made chips, and I had the chicken fried steak dinner! It was great and the service was excellent! Thank you Sample Room for a great eating experience!! 3 ladies from Larned, Kansas ???

We finally were able to eat at The S... read more I wouldnt go to here to eat, even if I was starving!!!!! We love to stay at the Wilson RV park, this is our 3rd time there. We finally were able to eat at The Sample Room Tavern, was told this place was the bomb, it wasn't. The tables are so close together I could barely get in my seat. My daughter's and my dinner was ok, but my husband's bacon cheeseburger came without the bacon and it was burned to a crisp. The waiter was good and apologized for the bad food. The manager didn't even come over to talk to us. The Snack Shack is much better. Take it from this 20+ year disabled AF veteran DO NOT EAT here.

There are stairs at the entrance, the tables are too low and closely packed together, and the bathroom wasn’t suitable. Parking is mainly across the street in a gravel area. It’s somewhat kid-friendly; they have high chairs but I didn’t notice a changing table. They do offer a kids' menu, which ranges from $6 to $8.
