The 47 Tavern - Wilson

I chose to dine here instead of the casino restaurants because the food was not appealing. I enjoyed the large portions of wings, cold beer, and friendly service.

I was vaguely aware of this local neighborhood pub when I was growing up in the countryside, not fully understanding its purpose as a child. To me, it was just a place where I could grab a soda if I didn't have one at home. Surprisingly, this establishment is still around, located near where I spent my childhood.

Best backwoods country bar around. Excuse the renovations...the building was built in the 1930s. Family owned for 25 years. Lots of local history and great regular customers....it's just like every bar you grew up in. Come as you are, and have just one more at The 47 Tavern
