I worked there as a young boy and the work ethic I gained has proven paramount to my character. Parker's BBQ operates like a well oiled machine as always. The service is second to none! The prices of their products are more than fair. The food is the best and equal to their competitor Marty's. What Joe doesn't like about Parker's Barbecue.:
We visited Parker’s on trip 301. We did takeout the quality of the barbecue has gone way down. The consistency is much finer and they grind up the viseral fat along with some small bone. The taste has also been diminished as well. This is very disappointing. Will not buy it anymore View all feedback.
I was born and raised in the Wilson area and have been eating at Parker's since the mid 1950s and have never had a bad experience there yet.

Been going to Parkers for 50 yrs and its always good.
Stopped on the way through Wilson to Emerald Isle and had the best BBQ I’ve had in ages. Great service too
Wonderful food best barbecue ever and very good cole slaw and chicken hush puppies melt in your mouth
