If we hadn’t done that, I’m not sure I would have enjoyed sharing the kitchen and common space with others. We were initially informed that we could bring our dog, but upon arrival, it became an issue. In the end, they allowed us to stay with him, but it felt a bit awkward.

The room variety was perfect to accommodate our needs from parents with babies using the suites to old fogies like me that were happy with a simple room with bath. The inn is right on the harbor. There were canoes and kayaks that we used to explore the neighborhood. Diane Johnson, the owner, was friendly, available, and accommodating. She even took us on a ghost walk in the neighboring cemetery and explained the region's lore and history.
