NO-SHOWED US EVEN AFTER PAYING DEPOSIT. We visited Jackson Hole for my mothers birthday and decided to use Chippy's to cater my moms birthday dinner in our AirBnB. We paid our deposit, discussed and elected menu items with Chippy, and were even comforted from the fact that Chippy had catered to our AirBnB before. The day and time of our dinner arrives, and our group of 11 sat and waited for Chippy to arrive at our planned time, but she never showed. Our calls went unanswered (and we called hours before the show time too). After an hour, we drove to the location of Chippys Catering and quickly realized that no one was there. After confronting her the about the missed dinner the following Monday, we were told that she double booked us. At no point were we given notice of this scheduling issue. Furthermore, the owner told us that we were at fault for not being more direct that we wanted the catering service; I guess a $250 deposit and numerous emails and phone calls confirming the details were not enough. Overall, this was a completely unprofessional experience, and caused our family to scramble last minute to produce a meal for 11 people.
