Quaint. Comfortable. There was a table of eight enjoying themselves and appropriately quiet. I enjoyed watching the Hearings on my phone eating the chicken flautas with beans and rice. Beans were good, probably better if you asked them to be refried. I think they tasted low salt which is healthier and I prefer healthier so I liked them. Excellent experience. View all feedback.
What Danielle L doesn't like about China Poblana Mexican:
This was my first time here, and not the authentic experience I was expecting. The shrimp in my soup were not deveined or deheaded and they were over cooked. The chicken in the tacos was dry and unseasoned, and the cilantro/onions/jalapenos we're not fresh. The only dish that was good was the guacamole.. I wasted 60 bucks.. The food is amazing and the severs are really nice and they give really good portions Kid-friendliness: They have chicken and fries
The food is excellent, especially the tacos. Everything was fresh and the service was great. This is probably the best Mexican food in Wilson.
My husband an I were driving by and I seen the place a few times and decided I was going to give them a try as I have yet to find good authentic Mexican food in NC wilson especially we stopped by around 11am the place was empty besides two customers dining in. The couple was running the place was very friendly. Being from Los Angeles and growing up with my brown ppl I’m very versed in Mexican cuisine. I ordered al pastor quesadilla and scopes and carne asada burrito since my expectations weren’t high I wasn’t disappointed the Al pastor recipe needs some work it doesn’t taste like al pastor I know different parts of Mexico cooks things differently but the alpastor didn’t taste like anything familiar to al pastor my husband didn’t even realize it had pineapple in it cause you couldn’t taste it he told me my al pastor was much better than this and taste more authentic thank God I learned from a Mexican friend the asada was much better this place is authentic homemade style cooking but just not great homemade food and I do find the prices high in Wilson for the amount that you get but the owner are very kind and I think if they work on their recipes and revamp the place they would get more business I wish them the best
