Tidewater Oyster - Wilmington

Our meal was absolutely delicious. I love seafood and this place did not disappoint. Everything was prepared beautifully and the service was great. Our server Caden was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu items and how they are prepared. I hate ordering and ending up with a server that doesn't know anything or has never tried the food. I'm adding this as one of my go to spots when in the area. Definitely worth the price!

We came by for lunch and Tidewater just knocked it out of the park. We ordered the seafood nachos which were amazing and the New Orleans BBQ shrimp which I? I just can?t. I have not been able to find this on a menu since our trip to New Orleans 7 hrs ago and it did NOT disappoint. The sauce was spot on, the shrimp were cooked/head-on/fresh perfection. My husband and I shared the two for lunch and I couldn?t be happier. 10/10. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Fresh in house made clam chowder soup, cup size is served on a cute wooden bowl. This delicious soup was a great addition to my meal. Caesar salad was a good choice but was a little over dressed. I added fried oysters on top and it was a great decision for my personal taste.

Nothing like iced cold beer with delicious gumbo! Next up was ceviche which was very good with a tasty sauce and spicy chips! The mussels were to die for with a curry spice, rice and naan!!! Absolute Yum!!! Tidewater is a hidden gem!!

It was kind of expensive and the food really wasn't very good. The c4ab cakes were mostly breading and over cook but the broccoli was practically raw and had no seasoning. There weren't many oysters for the price. Not a place I will go back to.
