Beautiful outdoor dining on the Cape Fear River near Sunset. We had a very light, cooled bottle of rose. Split the peasant salad. For entrees we did the salmon and groupers catch of the day sprinkled with rice and vegetables. And a shrimp with fried grains. View all feedback.

Monday lunch was quite subdued, but the bisque was excellent. My partner ordered the crab melt sandwich with chips. The bread was white bread without any particular flavor. View all feedback.
My boyfriend picked this place and all I can say is he picked a great place. We made dinner reservations for outside seating. Shortly after finishing our appetizers the rain started and our waiter offered to find us a seat inside. We still had a lovely view of the riverfront. I ordered the smaller portion of Shrimp and Grits. What a delightful mixture of flavors. The grit cakes and Collard base mixed with the Andouille sausage and shrimp was truly delightful. We finished off our meal by sharing a slice of key lime pie. I most definitely will return next time I am down in Wilmington
Really crowded but plenty of room for seating parking is free on Sunday on the street don't pay the $20 in the parking lot golden plane great service very good food reasonable prices place not to miss. We shared calamari and then had the special of the day grouper masala and very very good
ABSOLUTELY delicious food and atmosphere! Very quaint old home with very nice staff. Very cozy surroundings. The menu has a lot of nice offerings. We had the seafood combo with fried flounder and bay scallops. A large salad with grilled fresh salmon. Paired first with a bowl of the seafood bisque. Delicious!!!!
Restaurant on the River walk. Outdoor seating was available for a beautiful December day. Decent meal options, fish and seafood baskets were large. The cafe size option for some meals were a great lunch portion. The fried seafood and fish breading was light and cooked perfectly. If in the area, definitely recommend taking a look at the menu. Most lunch meals were under $20, with dinner options in the upper $20 and $30s.
Enjoyed our meal on the enclosed patio. Server was very helpful suggesting the better offerings. We were offered a sample of wine to ensure we liked our selection…which steered us in a better direction. Low Country Spring Rolls were amazing, as was the Shrimp Scallop Scampi and Sweet Potato Grouper! Perfect evening, with exception of a bit of rudeness from the hostess directing us to the exit. Hostess must be a stressful job! We will be back!
