Great place to eat! Would like to try out their outdoors in the future. Rare in Wilmington, especially at night. Everything was really good until the edible flower! Yeah, my two little ones and I ate the flower dipped in chocolate. View all feedback.

MOLDY BREAD! Keep reading- My husband booked a reservation for our anniversary tonight. We had wanted to come here since we moved to Wilmington in 2019 and finally got to come. I have to say that our service was pretty sub par. My husband asked about a salad and the service responded with, “it looks pretty.” That’s all he could tell us and was not very knowledgeable about the menu. This didn’t bother us so much, but... If you notice in you how clean this place is friendly willing to serve staff. The landscape has saltwater fish ready to greet you impressively at the door! The food style goes beyond and beyond like everything traditionally you find. This is a fondue setting to be ready to have fun and get yourself in portions where you are going full! Don't be discouraged, though for a first timer, because the staff goes through everything and even leaves you a place card if you forget! HIGHLY EMPFEHLE and definitely back up.
What a beautiful place! I sat on the deck during the live Thursday night music. The service was wonderful. Brian took care of me and was also the bartender for the night. The drinks he made were delicious. I had the lime cake Martini and a chocolate martini. I also made the Fontana cheese fondue. It comes with a bowl of bread and then a dish with a mixture of fruit (apples and grapes) and vegetables (Roasted potatoes, carrots and broccoli) everything was really great. My husband's favorite was the potatoes, I love bread, so I was mine, but I really enjoyed broccoli and apples. But really everything worked really well with the cheese. The only thing I would change, and it's just a personal opinion, I would love if the bread, even if only some of them, roasted or grilled or heated in any way to make it a little crisp. But really everything was perfect as it is. Next time I want to try one of the Dessert fondues. I saw some coming out and they looked amazing. I was too full for everything. Great live music, beautiful place where you can see the river and watch the sunset. I met the owners who were so friendly and friendly. I have friends asking for suggestions. I told them about little dipper and wanted to tell many more people about this place.
During an evening walk through downtown Wilmington, The Little Dipper catches my eye. I went in and was immediately greeted by Julie. Julie then put me on the bar where Brian gave me a cheese cake (with a candle for my birthday). While my New York style enjoy cheesecake (there is a huge difference between a regular cheesecake and New York... the manager, Jenna, met a conversation with me and made me feel very comfortable and at home. All the staff I met, including the bus driver, were polite and welcoming. As a new resident of Wilmington, I really appreciate hospitality.
That was the first time my wife got fondue, which bleeded my head, and it was great. We order her crab soup and have the Havarti Dill cheese mix for the cheese course. For the main course we had the port and beef style with fillet, pork, Mahi and Portobello mushrooms. We choose four different diving sauce: yum-yum, creamy horseradish, creamy dill and Caribbean Ruck bbq. Everything went great with our Entree selections. We finished with port and chocolate, peanut butter and caramel course. We actually had desert at home, but my wife had such a good time that we decided to get it for the experience. It wasn't disappointed. I would recommend this place to everyone. Why go to the melting pot if you can go out of downtown and support a local business?
What a lovely restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Our bartenders that evening were phenomenal! I would highly recommend making a reservation because they stay busy, but they still managed to fit us in even when we didn't have one. They made my birthday special, and I will certainly be returning the next time I'm in Wilmington!
