Huge cries to the cook, the gluten-free French toast with all the amazing goodness you put up! The best gluten-free French toast of a person could dream of ordering with celiac disease. Will definitely be back and thank you again for us gluten-free people out there; View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Dixie Grill:
Previous times were 5 stars, this one today didn't hit the mark. I suggest making the entrance doors open outward. People kept getting hit with the door while standing and waiting for a table. The pancakes were over done and the grits were under done. I do enjoy this place but this time, it fell short View all feedback.
Had a short stop in Wilmington. The staff was very friendly. Service was great! Restaurant has a very retro vibe. The food was good. My wife ordered the chicken fingers and I had the pancakes
Five stars delicious! Fantastic higher-level diner style breakfast. It's a great spot, but there might be a wait on a Sunday morning.
I wasn’t excited when my husband chose this little restaurant during our long weekend in Wilmington. I turned up my nose at the smallish menu thinking I would have to order standard eggs and bacon. My daughter and I decided to split so between us we ordered the Bacon Cheddar Scramble and a stack of sweet potato pancakes. The biscuit the savory scramble was on melted in my mouth. I love moist pancakes and they fit the bill. I didn’t need syrup the flavor was so good. My husband enjoyed the Banana Pecan French toast but he ate it so fast I didn’t get a bite. Dixie Grill was the perfect find. I’m still thinking about that scramble biscuit. We may need to go back again before we head home.
The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was hot and plentiful, the staff was super friendly and the prices were good. Great breakfast choice and it’s a place I will visit again in the future.
