WE MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH !!!! We used to loved getting Beef on Weck with fresh chips and chocolate chip cookies. Would LOVE their cookie recipe. Well loved for many years! Hope it opens back up one day.

Came for the sandwich but stayed for the cookies! There are a few meals I can think of that I have eaten in the town for well over a decade and the Beef on Weck is one of the best. Roast beef, Au Jus, horseradish on a fresh kummleweck bun. Perfection. Yes this place is small and yes this place is super busy at lunch but it's more than worth it for some of the best sandwiches in town. Oh and did I mention the chocolate chip cookies?

Holy moly.. my boyfriend and I have been depressed over the closing of Chips deli in Wrightsville for forever till we found this little gem. This sandwich that I do not remember the name of brought love back into my life, and I suggest to add the pesto mayo to anything, I'd eat it with a spoon. This sandwich was paninied the perfect amount and the bread was yet so soft. The shop itself is tiny and hard to find a spot to sit but dine in or take out... SO GOOD.

If you make almost everything in house you are eligible for 5 stars. Then add in great prompt, service and unusual options (beef on weck even though I am not a fan). Fresh made bread, fresh made sides, and clean updated seating area? I guess that is why there was a line to order on a Sunday during low season and before college was in session. Do it right, do it fresh, and we will eat it!

This place is a hidden gem in Wilmington. When I walked in the line was to the door which right off the bat means it's good. I had a great experience, but what I was most impressed with was the service with how busy they were. Food came out really quickly an staff was so pleasant. I got the beef on weck which is something they're famous for! Now I see why it's so popular. It's SO good! The sauce they give you with it is amazing. I'm not sure if they do this all the time, but when I went they were giving out cookies after every meal which was a great surprise treat. Absolutely love this place and encourage everyone to go!
