Pizzeria Il Forno - Wilmington

This restaurant offers a great variety of pizzas and salads, along with a solid selection of beers and cocktails. The outdoor seating is enjoyable, and the staff is very friendly. I didn't sample anything else from the menu, but the pizzas I had were thin-crust and delicious. This is definitely my favorite pizza spot in Wilmington. Just a heads up, they're not open late during the week, closing at 8:00 PM.

I did takeout both times and had no issues at all. The pizzas always taste fantastic, and I love their variety of unique flavors.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a stylish appearance. The staff members were friendly and attentive. I found my eggplant parmesan to be decent, but my cousin's appetizer was absolutely delicious! They also offer fantastic drink specials. I’m looking forward to returning to sample their delicious pizzas.

We had pizza here in the restaurant and it was good, but the ones we picked up tonight looked like that. It was burned and ice-cold. I know I wouldn't have served something bad if I had eaten it there. Beware of orders. I feel like someone should inspect what is served when the chefs send stuff like that. You refunded my money, but that's not the point. I wanted a good pizza for dinner, no refund.

The service was quick, waitstaff was attentive, food was hot and fresh. They had a steady flow of tables in and out but they were well staffed at front and back of the house which is rare to see these days. They had nice drink pairings with the entrees. Half price bottles of wine the night we went. Easily accommodated a party of 7. The portion sizes were good especially on the apps. I think we all left with a box. The seasonal decor is really nice and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
