This place found on Insta while trying to try places. Absolutely a must! It was fresh and so good. I had the smoked chicken nachos, my son had the smoked chicken sandwich and man had the Mahi Mahi with sides. View all feedback.
I'm quite selective when it comes to barbecue, but I have to say... this place hit the mark! The barbecue was absolutely delicious and flavorful! The sweet potato casserole was spot on, just like my mom used to make. We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing through, and we're so glad we did. We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip.
This barbecue restaurant is absolutely worth a visit! Make sure to take a detour or add it as a destination on your Google Maps—it’s that good. The pulled pork and baked beans are phenomenal, perfectly balancing heat and sweetness. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. While the portion sizes are reasonable, they might be a bit on the smaller side for those with a big appetite. And like many places in the South, the rolls left something to be desired; finding great bread can be a challenge around here. However, I want to emphasize that their cornbread is fantastic!
In July 2023, I had lunch here with Chet Cromer following our ACE meeting. The NCVA event was held at Wrightsville Beach that year, but we only participated in the meeting. After our lunch, I dropped Chet off at the airport so he could fly his small plane back to Anderson.
Good food, great beer selection. Family went to Moe's for lunch and were really impressed with the quality of the food. The pulled pork barbecue was nice and smoky. The sides were great. My only complaint was I would have liked more selection in the BBQ sauces. The bar tab is also separate from the food so expect 2 bills if you drink. Beer selection was outstanding with lots of local beers and very reasonably priced. We will be back.
The place is usually not super busy. The food it pretty good. I can't say there was any one thing that was signature stand out. The BBQ sauce is the mustered kind.Prices are about the same as anywhere. 4 of us ate for around 70$.It's a serve yourself drinks (sodas and tea) (they do have a bar area) and clean your own table kind of place. (I don't mind at all, few great places that do the same thing)Food does come out super quick.Good staple if you just don't know where you want to eat out that day.
