Kornerstone Bistro - Wilmington

This was our first time here. We tried a few times but short staffed I assume. We tried again yesterday and ordered takeout. We absolutely loved it! Thank you Jessica for your sweet smile in a mask but saw it in her eyes) and kindness and the bartender. Service was spot on. The food was incredible I had the Kstone salad ? and we had the mussels and broiled point oysters. Great job you guys. We live across the street and will be back! We went back again for takeout and had Emily take care of us. Such was sweet girl. We had the Greek Salad and Burrata Bruschetta. Delicious! The restaurant is so clean and organized.

The claim of this place to fame is used in Italian dishes. It's an interesting pairing. I had the lasagna and it was very good. We were at a big party. Server was friendly and prompt. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The shell-cream-bread-dip thing was good even though I had only one bite.

So glad we're here for dinner on the way home from Charleston!! We could smell the wood stove from the outside and knew we were in the right place. As you enter, you will see the beautiful oven stacked with the wood below in a small cubby. The service was quick and very helpful because I was wavy between the K-Salad and the Penne Primavera, and the server beat the pasta with black shrimps. I went with this proposal minus the shrimps and I was not disappointed! I loved the artichokes, pine nuts and zucchini that were in the penne with the most delicious pesto sauce! We ordered spaghetti with butter for my daughter and she ate the whole dish! She was still hungry, so we ordered her a simple vanilla ice cream in a bowl and she ate all this too. My friend ordered a 10? Pepperoni pizza and he gave it with the egg yolk, it was so good! I went to a close-up picture of the oven and ran into the owner who was super nice and came by to ask us what we thought about our dinner. We had a nice conversation before we paid the very reasonable bill. We'll be back next time? back to the area!

We ate here this afternoon and it was so good! We had visited a year ago and thought it was good, but nothing special (that it was a year between visits). But this time was much better. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. I want to thank Maddison, our server. She treated us with such care and she was extremely committed. They're very happy to have them there. We?

So delicious! Went here the first time in person back in December and have been back many times since. My favorite dish is the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. So good!
