Lived here for years but never visited. Came to hear the music with a group of friends. Had the Rachel and hubby had the Reuben. Both were good, could have been grilled a bit more but the crisp chips were great. Basic bar food, but people were ordering the pierogis like crazy and loving them. Burgers looked good too. Only downside was we had a great waiter, but he was the only waiter on a very busy evening so we wait... View all feedback.
What Ara Flatley doesn't like about Joe's Oasis:
Very disappointed by my burger!!! Very clear ordered burgers well made without pink, it was mostly pink soggy down bungalow. Looks like it might be cooked for a minute on each side if so long. The lower blood and fat soaked buns, and black rim salad, and microwaves the meat. Never again will I get a burger from there!!! The half price boneless wings were good!!! I'm sorry, but I can't eat raw meat!!! View all feedback.
Great for Steeler's football. Great crowd and fun food. Local favorite with a consistent clientele. Authentic Pittsburgh favorites home cooked daily. The Steelworker Stack is tops among Pittsburgh natives.
We were seated quickly and Joe's was not crowded. our food arrived fairly quickly. My husband had a pastrami sandwich with fries and I had a small fried shrimp with salad instead of fries. Our food was ok, nothing extra special, but served the purpose for a quick dinner. They had a trivia game going on which was interesting to listen to. We had a very nice waitress. I am glad they were on Open Table as I would not have thought of going there for dinner.

Kitchen stayed open for us on a rainy night. Hostess was gracious. We had made a reservation on open table.
We sat fast and joe wasn't full. our food came pretty fast. my man had a pastrami sandwich with fries and I had a small fried garnel with salat instead of fries. our food was ok, nothing special, but served the purpose for a quick dinner. they had a trivia game that it was interesting to hear. we had a very nice waitress. I'm glad they were on an open table, because I didn't think of going to dinner.
