Goody Goody Omelet House - Wilmington

I was blown away by the quality of the omelettes at this simple omelette joint. They have been serving up delicious dishes since 1977 and it shows in their food. My wife and I visited for the first time this weekend and I tried the sausage and egg omelette with Swiss cheese - it was one of the best omelettes I have ever had. My wife loved her grits, describing them as fabulous. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly. The seating inside is limited, so be prepared to wait outside if it's full. However, the wait is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving a delicious omelette.

This was my first time visiting from the city. It's a charming, old-fashioned restaurant with a cozy seating area. When we arrived, there was a 15-minute wait for a table, but we were able to sit at the counter right away. We ordered coffee, simple French toast, a ham and cheese omelette, hash browns, and grilled cookies. The food was excellent! The coffee was also delicious. The eggs were incredibly fluffy and creamy. We didn't realize they only accepted cash until we went to pay, but they do have an ATM. The prices were very reasonable. The staff wasn't the friendliest, and we had to wait a bit to pay, but overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back for the food and prices.
