Was Jim “The Cheesesteak Guy” Pappas at Cavanaugh's a mag?
We decided to try the Executive Cheesesteak, which seemed to be made with Filet tips and came with a side of french fries. Surprisingly, it cost less than the $22 price listed on Google Maps. Interestingly, Dan's half of the sandwich had a lot more meat on it compared to mine. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but there were some aspects of the meal that left us with some doubts. Hadn?t been here for a ling time had forgotten how good their food was! Had a fun lunch with friends today at Cavanaugh?s Restaurant in Wilmington! So glad Cavanaugh?s made it through the pandemic, enjoyed the winderful history lesson and the greatfood!! Thanks for a fun day!

The owner kindly answered our questions about the building’s history as a former candy factory and shop. We even got a glimpse of the balcony seating upstairs. I tried the Southwest chicken salad, and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and great food.
Excellent food and ambiance. I had the steak salad, and it was delicious.
