Awesome bread choices. Baked fresh every day. Our choices were baked that morning. No preservative. Keep in mind if buying in quantit. However, freezing is an option. Prices are in line with major grocery stores for artisan bread. about $6 a loaf. View all feedback.
What Dan E doesn't like about Cape Fear Seafood Company Monkey Junction:
Disappointing selection of pastries this morning (September 3, 2022 ... labor day weekend! . Based on the online menu and reviews I expected to find croissants, scones, and fruit bread. Croissants were all gone. The only scones left were orange cranberry (not for me! , and the fruit breads were only available as a full loaf. We turned around and left. Their breads looked good, but if you are looking for something swe... View all feedback.
Wow. Just a great culinary experience. Our server Leslie was fantastic. The drinks were great, the food was excellent. We all have something we loved. When Desserts arrived, we were on such a role that I forgot to take photos! I had the special daily salmon, my wife had the Calabash style shrimps and both were brilliant. Cream brulee, Cobbler and Brownie Desserts were all delicious. Very happy to find, there are other locations for us to try near home.
10/10. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Bartenders were attentive and cocktails were awesome. On Sunday?s they do $6 **** Mary?s yum . I got the seafood broil as an entree and it was one of the best I?ve had. Scallops were juicy as well as the shrimp and nothing was over cooked or dry. Can?t get enough. Next time I?m in town I?ll be back.
Simply delicious. The fries seasoning is outstanding. We had one issue with our fries being cold, but the waitress immediately gave us fresh fries on this side. We ordered the fish and chips to keep it simple. The fish was not over/under fried.
Amazing amazing. We loved everything we ordered from drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert! Our waitress was so fun and made the experience that much better. They were so busy so things came slowly from the bar like we had apps before our drinks, but that?s what you get on a busy Friday night. Food was so fresh and hot when it came out. The restaurant is cold so bring a sweater! The decor is nothing special, but worth a try if you haven?t been here yet. If you like sangria get the pineapple citrus one, it was delicious with both red and white. The espresso brownie was also to die for! Yum. Crème brûlée is my all time fav dessert so try that too!
My wife and I first ate at the new Raleigh location, but while we were at the beach this past week, we decided to try the local one as well. Needless to say, the quality is superb at both! The first time I had calabash style seafood which was excellent. This time I had the figure 8 flounder and it was so good! I am not usually a baked fish eater, but this was well worth my experimentation! We will return to both in the future for good food and great hospitality!
