Was User at Rasa Sayang a mag?
Malaysian flavors are wonderful but can they be veganized? Yes. The papaya salad I ate did not include the unnecessary dried shrimp and was all the better for it! They make delicious homemade tofu and I had mine with fresh mango. Wonderful sweet and spicy combinations abound and are a real treat to any adventurous vegan vegabond. Did I mention the pineapple rice? It is literally served inside a half of a whole pineap... View all feedback.

My friend is part of a lunchtime dining rotation with his coworkers and he came to Rasa, loved it and decided to take me for dinner on a busy Friday night.

Maybe it's because we came at lunch time and had a limited lunch menu, but the pad thai I ordered was mediocre at best.

Before you even order your drinks order the Roti Canai If you trust me and there's more than 2 people at your table order 2 Roti Canai.

I went here on the basis of other reviews and even ordered the roti with sweet sauce contains butter. I smelled it as soon as it arrived. I even asked before I ordered and they said no, then when I pushed more after it arrived, the waitress said “only a little” she also said that they can’t prepare it without butter. for my entree I ordered the veggie red curry, again I asked several times whether it contains any butter, ghee or any animal products at all and was sure it did not. it was extremely rich and tasty and I swore it had butter in it, so I asked another time. I know I'm paranoid, but I really want to be sure, especially if I should recommend a restaurant. very nice people, clean, but as with many Indian and South Pacific restaurants, the language barrier can sometimes cost. I really wish they could make the roti vegan as it looked and smells delicious. P.S, if they are not a fan of okra, make sure they tell them no okra! they have loaded my plate with it! I think okra can be a animal, so I'll stay away.

Nestled in Concord Mall, Rasa Sayang offers an exquisite dive into Malaysian and Thai cuisine. Diners praise the authentic flavors and diverse menu, featuring standout dishes like the rich veggie red curry, unique pineapple rice served in a half pineapple, and homemade tofu. The warm, friendly service enhances the cozy atmosphere, making meals even more enjoyable. While some guests have noted minor issues with dietary preferences, the staff is accommodating, ensuring a delightful experience overall. With creative dishes and vibrant flavors, Rasa Sayang is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking adventure and comfort.

Amazing restaurant. Good ambiance, nice service, tasty food, the noodles was too yummy. I would love to try couple of other dishes in the near future.

Every time my husband and I come we are greeted kindly, and are always treated well. Best Sushi in the area hands down.

We had a great experience visiting Rasa Sayang during Weekend Dinner! They used to be in the Independence Mall but post COVID they changed their location. This new location in Concord Mall is relatively smaller but very easy to find. We ordered Basil Fried rice, Red Curry, Roti Canai and Vegetable Shushi. Everything there tested very authentic. We had our friend visiting from outside of the country for the very first time we tried Malay-Thai Cuisine and they loved it! Service was very quick and portions are really good compared to their price. We will certainly visit again!

Excellent food and great service at lunchtime on a Friday. Second best chicken chow fun I've ever had, but the best has been out of business for almost 20 years. The char Sui pork appetizer was also very good.
