Contribute FeedbackMoro, once a favorite, has taken a disappointing downturn. Recent visits have been marred by subpar food and service, along with frequent menu and drink shortages. With many better options available, patrons are unlikely to return. However, some loyal customers still enjoy standout dishes like the eggplant tower. Despite ongoing staffing issues and inconsistent experiences, Moro's creative small plates remain a highlight for many diners. While the restaurant's glory days may be fading, some old favorites can still be found, acknowledging both its former greatness and current struggles.
I had heard about Moro for a while and I wanted to check it out. We walked in and there was no one to seat us. We waited about minutes for someone to come and seat us. While we were at the table we waiting about minutes before our server knew that we were their table even though they passed by us several times. The food was good, but the cocktails weren't. They couldn't even make some of them because they ran out of vodka. I've never heard of a restaurant running out of such a common and popular liquor like vodka. It wasn't just a certain brand of vodka, it was any vodka. I wouldn't go back

Short staffed so extremely slow service. Food excellent. Took us over hours to have dinner. Hopefully this was an exception
This past Friday evening Moro had just servers and one chef on duty. They continuously turned away walkin business not because they were busy the place was nearly empty but because they were short staffed. This time they were out of all but one beer choices and one menu entree. We waited nearly an hour between appetizer and entree serving. A month ago they were out of about entree choices and all beer. The time before that they were again out of most entrees, most beer and most wine. I'm done with Moro
Was very disappointed. So many menu items were not available. While I am not a beer drinker, only having out of beers listed is pathetic. Two of the four appetizers were not available. No espresso coffee. Even some of the cheeses and meats for the cheese and meat board were not available. This is a pretty small menu to start with so not having of the items is a bad sign.My meal was OK my friend had the lamb and said it was a bad cut of meat. My husband had the gnocci which were delicious. And the eggplant small plate was also very tasty. None of us would go back. Seems like the restaurant is on it's last legs. It's a shame because it was very good once, but no longer
