Wendy’s - Willowick
Wendy’s
Description
Diners report a split experience at this fast‑food franchise: frequent long drive‑thru waits, understaffing, incorrect or cold/undercooked orders, distracted employees and occasional broken equipment, contrasted with other patrons who praise fresh, well‑prepared food and helpful resolution when mistakes occur. Allegations of inconsistent promotions and unprofessional conduct surface alongside positive notes about attentive staff at times. Expect uneven service—great food when the team is engaged, but recurring staffing and operational hiccups remain a concern.

It's difficult for me to award five stars to a fast food restaurant, but considering the competition, this one stands out as the best. The food here is consistently fresh and well-prepared. They rarely forget my orders, and when they do, they’re always very accommodating in resolving the issue. The staff is genuinely engaged in their work, which is refreshing; they certainly don't appear zoned out as they hand you your food. The only drawback is that I've started to gain some weight, but I realize that's my own responsibility, not theirs.
I ordered through the drive-thru, but my sandwiches were all wrong. I then decided to go inside to place my order, but the employees seemed more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers. Unfortunately, the sandwiches I received were still made incorrectly.
I’m giving this place one star because the food is at least edible, but that's where the positives end. Their soda is terrible—it's so watered down that it's basically undrinkable. Don't even think about driving to this location unless you're prepared to spend at least thirty minutes in the drive-thru, no matter what day or time it is. The customer service is subpar, to say the least. It feels like the staff is sharing one rejected brain cell since they just stand around staring at each other without taking any initiative. We recently moved to the area and have visited this restaurant about four times, but we won't be going back.
Short line in drive-thru. Long wait. Cold Burgers received. Service by SJW's acting out microaggressions towards customers. Rumor has it that this Wendy's is a minority owned franchise that is subsidized by the federal government and has no intention of establishing good and friendly business relations with the general public and gets paid via taxpayer money for failure to strive towards business and customer service excellence. On Veterans Day, they are known not to participate in the advertised Wendy's corporate Veterans Day Promotions as I have personally experienced.
The worst Wendy's I have ever had. From the moment I drove up to order my food to trying to eat what they didn't mess up with my order. Very rude customer service...I'm assuming because it was ordered at 10pm even though they close at 1AM? Looked dirty through the window....sadly wasted my money on this.
