Despite being very large, the taste is very authentic. Over the years, the ratio of rice to filling has improved significantly. It is now perfect! I would rate the taste as 10/10. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Bong:
At first, you look and the food looks great. You get a lot in terms of quantity for the sushi bong special but when you taste it, it’s just okay. The roll is way too big and too much cucumber. View all feedback.
This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant. I have been coming here for 12 years. Even though I no longer live nearby, I still come at least once every two weeks. If I lived within 10 minutes, I would come here a few times a week. I have tried many other sushi restaurants over the years, but I still believe that Sushi Bong is the best. The rolls are huge and the prices are very reasonable, with minimal price increases over the years. The food is always fresh and tastes best when eaten soon after being made. I have had experiences at other places where the sushi tastes like it has been sitting out for a while, but that is never the case at Sushi Bong. They use real wasabi, not just green horseradish. I know that horseradish is not common at sushi restaurants, but it can really ruin the meal for me. The staff are very friendly and always remember me, even when I call to place an order. My go-to order for my friend and I is the Sushi Bong Special, with avocado added to the included salmon roll, the dynamite roll, and the Sushi Combo B. This is enough food for two people and leaves us both completely satisfied for less than $20 per person.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, especially considering the price. While it may not be the best sushi place around, it offers great value for money. The prices are competitive compared to other sushi spots nearby, which have significantly increased their prices over the years. My favorite dish is the Sushi-Bong-Special, particularly the special California roll with salmon and egg. The spicy salmon roll has a unique Korean twist, and the dynamite roll is delicious. Overall, the other rolls are also tasty and affordable.
Easily my favourite sushi place. I usually get a dynamite roll and shrimp tempura.
