Contribute Feedback What A L doesn't like about Bonnie's Dining And Banquets:
They are unreliable. For years they have been there and they don't keep with their stated hours. There is NO parking because they have plastic chairs and tables in all the parking spaces. The owner parks his car in the only frontage parking spot for the post office ALL day long. We have gone there a few times over the years and they were closed when they were supposed to be open. Food was so good! The owner was so sweet and came out to chat with us. Planning on doing our wedding and reception there.
Where to start reviewing this place?! I've known of this place for about 13 years, started coming when I was really young. I'm just now getting into yelp and thought I'd do some back tracking on my reviews! Bonnie's Dining and Banquets and Illinois Billiard Club have so much to offer. We live right in town and have seen the banquet hall have tons of different functions throughout the years. 1. Their banquet hall is amazing! We had a family communion reception years ago and it was phenomenal! We were able to play billiards in the club and the dining room was able to hold our entire family. They also recently had a wedding reception, along with retirement parties, baptisms, showers, birthdays and graduations. (I receive their weekly emails that keep me up to date. They always attach pictures of the recent happenings and post them on Face book! 2. The Billiard Club is a private club for members only and is super fancy inside. There are about 8 antique tables that are really well kept, any time I've been there, the owner is really friendly and gives lessons to people playing. 3. the food. Okay, the food is always so flipping good. The dinners are so good. There are always side salads and a garden salad. vegetables, potatoes, chicken, fish, soup. SO GOOD. I highly suggest trying the carrot salad and macaroni salad. YUM. The chicken they make during the week is fried and I swear its mouth watering amazing. 4. They cater too. Prices aren't bad and they deliver 5. During the summer when not having a party the front patio is used as an ice cream parlor! They have 8 different kinds of ice cream, and some 20 Sundae options. You order, then get to go outside. Its great for us because we just walk down the hill, sit there, and then walk off the delicious calories after. 6. Parking. From the street it doesn't look like there is a lot of parking but there is a massive lot behind the building along with a lot on the side of the street for customers. 7. Tournaments. They actually just held some awesome national tournament a few months ago. It was a weekend long, they sold tickets and had a really awesome billiard trick shot master there. For those who attended, we were able to get beer or soda, along with cookies and lunch. Before we'd set foot into Bonnie's we had no idea what hid behind the doors, but after you go in, we were amazed at how much that place had to offer! There is so many historical items in there, cute collectibles along the walls, the service is good, the owners are super nice and friendly, its close to home, and the prices are good. Couldn't ask for a better place to go and plan on visiting soon. Jillian B. Willow Springs, IL
A little over 6 months ago a friend of mine at work was planning a Retirement get together dinner for one of our Employees. He was having the Event at a place called Bonnie`s Dining and Banquets and the Illinois Billiard Club in Willow Springs,IL .I live in a Suburb just South of Chicago called Evergreen Park so I never really get to Willow Springs much. I went to the dinner and you walk in the front door past Bonnie`s ice cream parlor that serves Peterson`s ice cream into the dining area that was just beautifully decorated with rustic wood tables and chairs and a lot of knick knack statues like precious moments and other pictures that made walking in there so welcoming. I then met the owner Jim and after talking with him on how nice the ambience was for 5 minutes, I knew I was in for a special treat. It was a Friday night and all of us had the all you can eat Fried Chicken and Fish Buffet that they serve for dinner. I love good Fried Chicken but instead of the Fried Chicken being just good it was mouthwatering and delicious. On a scale of 1-10 I gave the Fried chicken a 12 and the Fish was tasty also. We had Roasted Potatoes, The Vegetable was Corn, .3 different Salads like Macaroni, 3 Bean, and a Garden ,Rolls and Butter, and for only 14 Dollars and 95 cents a meal fit for a King. After dinner if you wanted you could play some Billiards or Pool in the ajoining room for a additional charge if tables are available, but all of us just wanted to sit and enjoy the Homie Atmosphere of Bonnie`s. I also found out that besides being open on Friday for the Fish and Chicken Buffet they are open one additional night that being Wednesday for just the all you can eat Fried Chicken Buffet with most of the same sides that I mentioned above for only 12.95. After enjoying just a wonderful time on the way out the door I picked up a Brochure that said they host Special Events and Parties like Christmas,Birthday,Graduation and Corporate Events, On the drive home I was thinking that I just visited one of Illinois best kept secrets in Bonnie`s. I have been to Bonnie`s now at least 25 times on either a Wednesday or a Friday night for the delicious all you can eat Buffet and I count the days down till the next time that I visit this Culinary Delight again. Thank you to my friend Jerry for planning the event at Bonnie`s. If it was held elsewhere I might not have never gone to this Treasure of a place called Bonnie`s Dining and Banquet`s. Check out the Buffet some Wed. or Fri. night or plan a Special Event there giving more people like me a 5 star eating experience of a lifetime. You will be glad that you did.P.S. On Wed. and Fri.,the Buffet is serve yourself and the waitress will supply your beverages. The Buffet is served for 2 hours starting at 6PM and ends at 8PM and Bonnie's closes for the night at 9PM.

The owner parks his car in the only frontage parking spot for the post office ALL day long. We have gone there a few times over the years and they were closed when they were supposed to be open. One of the times we went there for a buffet, they ran out of food. This place must be their hobby.
