I'm not too bothered by the fact that the hostess waited until she cleaned every tabl... read more This was one of my worst experiences at a restaurant that I have ever had! I'm not too bothered by the fact that the hostess waited until she cleaned every table in the restaurant before seating people when there were MANY open seats. But the worst part was that it took (no exaggeration) ONE HOUR from when we ordered our food until we received it. And when we received it, only one of our meals wasn't cold. I had the mac and cheese and it had that layer of hardened cheese on it when it gets when it has been sitting out for a long time. And the chicken on top was cold. The server virtually ignored us, and they weren't even that busy. On top of that, I ordered the Club House Grille, then they came back and said they were out and had me order something else. Than they came back again to say that they were out of fish and chips as well and had my father re-order. There was no manager on duty to ask for help. Just a horrible experience overall. I thought it was odd when the host has said it would be a 15 minute wait because there was no one waiting except the one party of three. After 20 minutes, I asked how much longer to be seated and she says she has no idea. Tried to tell me how she came in at 3:30, had to bust tables and blah blah blah. I told her to please stop. I was not interested. In over 20 minutes, she had not sat 1 person. When she finally walked us to our table, the dining area was only about 20% full. No excuse to have waited that long. Ordered a burger that came without lettuce. I asked the waitress and was told they were out of lettuce. The manager stopped by to ask how thimgs were, when I told him about the exteneded wait he offered a lackluster apology. When I told him about no lettuce, he said oh yeah, we ran out, but they just delivered a bag from another store. Never did offer to have someone bring lettuce out for our burgers.
