The place was a little dif... read more A five-star classic cheeseburger made by the nicest people in a humble diner on the outskirts of Williston, not far from Main Street. The place was a little difficult to find because the map was way off but so worth the effort. The tiny, two-table dining room was occupied by law enforcement men of all stripes who said everything was good. Based on the burger and sweet potato pie alone, I believe them and look forward to going back for fried chicken and coconut pie. During the era of COVID-19, don't be deterred by the cramped quarters. They've got an acrylic glass at the ordering window and you can wait outside for 15 minutes or so while your food is cooked to order. Closed on weekends and I believe it's cash only, you might call ahead – especially around dinner time when they say they sell out.
