Description

Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, this Thai restaurant has garnered a devoted following thanks to its delectable dishes and accommodating vegetarian options. Many patrons rave about the excellent chive dumplings and the standout Drunken Noodles, praised for their rich flavors. However, a recent trend in portion sizes and value has left some longtime customers disappointed, noting that food prices do not align with serving sizes. While the authentic curry delivered on taste, inconsistent service and quality issues have prompted mixed feelings. This restaurant remains a flavorful choice but may require more consideration for value-conscious diners.

I used to go to SriPraPhai in Woodside often, but now that I live on Long Island, I visit this location instead. It is just as good as the Woodside location.

I am giving this restaurant one star only because the curry tasted authentic. Everything else was subpar. The service was terrible, the waitress did not check on us or ask how we were doing.

We have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for a decade or so, even during quarantine when they offered only takeout services. However, I must admit that I am not as satisfied with the quality as I used to be.

I just ordered papaya salad and clearly mentioned that I am a strict vegetarian. When I got home and took a bite, I discovered it had shrimp in it. Despite telling them I was vegetarian, they still gave me this dish. When I returned it, they just said sorry. Is this how you run a restaurant? How can they not check? This was an extremely disappointing experience. A word of caution to all vegetarians: be careful! I will never go back to Sri Pra.

Overhyped but always busy. Food did come out fast and servers were friendly.
