Contribute Feedback What Joe E likes about Mercia Marina Farm Shop Coffee House:
The chai lattes are delicious, and I really enjoyed my slice of coffee cake. My only downside was that the staff could have been a bit friendlier. You can also read a newspaper if you'd like and take a look at the fantastic selection of delicatessen items and food available for purchase. I will definitely visit again. View all feedback.
The coffee house is a real treasure, always bustling with a diverse array of chairs and tables to accommodate various groups. There’s also outdoor seating along the boardwalk, which takes full advantage of the stunning views of the marina. Their selection of homemade cakes is fantastic, featuring delectable options like coffee cake, chocolate cake, and Millionaire's shortbread. They also offer a great variety of hot drinks, including rich, flavorful coffees and the full range of Teapigs tea, which comes with a small bottle of milk—an excellent touch. The hot food is equally impressive. I highly recommend the breakfast sausage cobs, which are generous in size, filled with richly flavored sausages, and served with Wilkin Sons tomato sauce—simply perfect! We've also enjoyed a couple of lunches here, like the roasted vegetable paninis paired with a dressed salad and a generous bowl of vegetable crisps, ample enough for two if you prefer a light meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, even during busy times, which is quite common. Overall, it's a fantastic new venue, although it is worth noting that they do not serve lunch on Sundays.
