I absolutely love Oriental Café! The atmosphere is soothing and inviting. They offer an excellent selection of Sushi and Sashimi, and every meal is fresh and made to order. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Soup with Coconut (Tom Kha Gai) and the Chicken Yaki Udon. The bar is a great spot to relax and enjoy a cocktail as well! In my experience, takeout usually takes about 15 minutes to be ready for pickup. A couple of suggestions: it seems your business has grown in popularity, so adding more waitstaff could help improve service speed. Additionally, the outside sign isn't illuminated, making it hard for current and potential customers to see. If your business isn't visible, it's as if it doesn't exist!
We visited Oriental Cafe Willimantic for a family birthday lunch on Saturday with a party of nine. Despite having just one sushi chef and one chef in the kitchen, our meals arrived promptly and were outstanding! The service was fantastic as well. We also enjoyed the gyoza appetizer, which was perfect.
The food was great, and since they had just opened, we were the very first customers. Lunch was enjoyable, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. I ordered Beef Teriyaki, and my girlfriend Carlene had vegetable tempura, which was cooked perfectly.
I had a wonderful experience at Oriental Cafe Willimantic on both my dine-in and takeout visits. Jeff was extremely helpful every time! I highly recommend exploring the menu and enjoying a fresh roll paired with a cocktail!
It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday, which is a great sign. The food was delicious, and the waitstaff were excellent. Highly recommended!
