The Pirates Tavern is situated on Ann Pier along the Williamstown waterfront. While it may be a bit tricky to locate, it is definitely worth the search. This unassuming bar is a favorite hangout spot for the locals and is affiliated with the Williamstown Maritime Association. The prices of the drinks are reasonable, making it a great spot to enjoy a casual drink by the waterfront.
Not always open, and can be tricky to find, but awesome nonetheless. Service was amazing, and has a great range of beers as well. Definitely worth checking out.
We had visited the MY Steve Irwin (formerly the Sea Shepherd) and decided to visit the Pirates Tavern on Ann Pier. The Pirates Tavern is connected to the Williamstown Maritime Association. We sat out in the Spring sunshine, enjoying the view over Hobsons Bay. The drinks are very reasonably priced. By the way, the Pirates Tavern also has live music.
