This pub hasn't changed in 40 years or more, still the same now and still the same patrons that were there 40 years ago. It is old and tired and could do with a Reno. But that will increase prices of course. View all feedback.

Went here after a funeral as my friend used to go there when ahe could. This place should be pulled down if they're not going to do it up. Its a disgrace really. The staff are ok but its had its day or should I say years. View all feedback.
Make over and an improvement.. The wine bar at the Rose of Australia Hotel, delivers a very good meal at a cheap price. On our third visit in four weeks. While it is local, there are plenty of other pubs and eating places in Williamstown and surrounds. A good fillet of steak, a seafood dish and a pleasing vegetarian meal. All good and happy to return. The wines were good too!
Dined at The Rose of Australia. Last night, I treated my family to dinner at The Rose of Australia and we were thoroughly impressed with our meals. The chicken parma was outstanding, cooked perfectly, and the beer was ice-cold. We also had the chance to meet the new owners who were very friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it for a meal and drinks.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The bar had some friendly characters, and although the bistro was initially empty, it soon filled up for good reason. The parma, which I use as my standard for all pubs, was delicious. It was just the right size with a perfect amount of crunch in the breading. The food was on special, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the servers were delightful. What more could you ask for?
Great value for the money. The decor takes you back in time, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals at a reasonable price. The staff were very helpful and I will definitely be returning. The newly opened wine bar also seems like a winner.
The Rose ready to bloom. This place has painted its exterior and made it more accessible. It's not as scary to walk into especially if you have kids. I thought the service and food was great. When locals catch on this place will be buzzing. The prices are very reasonable considering the standard of the food, and the wine list was exceptional, and reasonably priced. The service was also attentive. Compared to other local pubs and the prices you pay for sub standard food this place, I hope, will make it's mark soon. <br/ <br/ We had the full range steak, barramundi, kids meals, and sides, all great!
