The atmosphere is lovely, the service grate but the food let you down, we order the tempura oysters and found a hair in it, sent it back and received a new one. Then the stake was tough, we in formed the staff the manager spoke to the chef and agreed it was a bad cut. The place looks ok to be a fine dining restaurant but in my opinion the pub serves better food and less expensive.

The anchorage restaurant is a lovely restaurant for a special occasion or even just a night out lovely food great atmosphere fantastic views great waiters overall great experience
The Anchorage is not a budget visit but what you will get is good quality food. The menu is very seafood driven but then you are eating on the bay so it fits with the culture of the venue. I actually had Steak as I don't eat fish and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and very quick so you were not waiting for service. I saw on the way out that there was a function room which was being used which would make for a great event. As I have said, the prices are not cheap, and your plate will not be full, but the taste is top quality.
