The Bridge Tavern - Williamsport

This incident occurred at 4:30 in the afternoon. Today, when we called to place a food order for pickup, the person who answered the phone simply said “Hello” without any further greeting. When the person went to pick up the food, she was treated poorly. It's unfortunate because this place used to be fantastic.

We typically visit The Bridge for a meal every month or two, and we were generally satisfied until this evening, which was quite disappointing. My fiancé and I both ordered cheesesteaks, but mine was mostly filled with fried onions and only a small amount of meat. My fiancé, however, had significantly more meat in hers. Additionally, both of our buns were quite dry and crumbled as we tried to eat, causing the filling to fall onto our plates. Despite this experience, we will give it another shot since we usually enjoy dining at The Bridge.

I ordered a cheesesteak with everything—hot peppers, mushrooms, pepper relish, and garden veggies—and asked for it to be cut in half. When I got home, I found it to be quite dull and plain, and it wasn’t even cut. From now on, I’ll make sure to open the container and check my order before leaving.

Our waitress was really nice and attentive, even though she was new. Food was just ok. Not spectacular. I had the chicken quesadilla. Shredded lettuce, tomato and jalapenos on the side, for what? The chicken was shredded and I think had some kind of seasoning. My husband had a burger on a strange bun. But he was satisfied. Probably will only go back occasionally, if at all. Atmosphere was blah. Costly for what was served.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced! The staff was attentive and very helpful.
