7/19/22... We decided to eat here instead of finding out where to eat outside. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal. Service was great, the mood was also beautiful. My only question is the price. I was in jail when I got the bill. I've never paid so much for dinner for four people. Otherwise, great experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pitchers Taphouse Doubletree:
The menu didn't look so great. Definitely a place to bring young children if you stay here. They let them sit at the bar when with parents, and the playroom is right next door. View all feedback.
Bartenders were incredibly rude!!!! I went to check out the menu since I couldn't find a copy in the room. I'm standing at the bar trying to place an order and she walks by me several times rolls her eyes and takes someone elses order that arrived several minutes later. I ended up leaving. I felt incredibly discriminate d by this, and I never pull that card.
My sister, dad, and I stayed at DoubleTree Hotel, so we decided to give the pitcher 's bar a shot. The food menu was limited, and we were expecting the sandwiches from the pictures on yelp. Now, I must say, the french fries are great!!! Theyre spirally and fresh tasting. I wasn 't a fan of anything else. The soft pretzels were hard as all get out to the point it hurt my teeth to bite into them. Shame too because the flavor of them were good. Drinks were really good too, and the bartenders are willing to make any drink you ask. The best part of the meal... Our waiter, PEYTON! He is Truly remarkable, appreciative, down to earth, willing to help, and friendly. He even joked along with us. : One of the BEST waiters I have ever met! Thank you, Peyton! The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because of the food.
Was good a year ago. This year the menu is terrible and prices are insane... 14$ for 7 bone in wings? It 's a scam. Servers are nice, but prices and options are not worth the quality anymore. It 's a sports bar with expensive dinning prices. I 'll just go to the sportsman 's bar and grill 2 min up the street for better food and prices.
If a sports bar is defined by having televisions, then sure, it qualifies. However, I wouldn’t personally choose to go there specifically to watch a game. If there were a Shamrock in the decor, it would likely just be labeled as an Irish pub.
On July 19, 2022, we chose to dine at this restaurant rather than searching for another place to eat outside. All four of us enjoyed our meals, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely as well. My only concern was the cost—I felt shocked when I saw the bill. I've never spent so much on dinner for four people! Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.
