This is a cozy restaurant located in a relaxed area. It is very well-maintained and clean. We stumbled upon it while stopping for gas at the nearby station, and were pleasantly surprised to find a family-friendly dining spot. What D W dislikes about Landmark:
Hole in the wall (in a good way) which must have recently had an ownership change because none of the food remotely lived up to the reviews here. Rubbery scrambled eggs, hash browns definitely from a box (same with the biscuits), ham was canned and cheap. Service was cheerfully incompetent. Fairly awful. Home City Diner atmosphere. Great service! Great portions, wonderful desserts. Appropriate prices. We go for lunch every time we travel I-80 from Illinois to Central Iowa

We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Our server was fantastic. We placed our drink and food orders within 15 minutes! The food was delicious! The restaurant was very clean when we arrived at 1:00. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and after each table was cleaned, a sanitized shield was placed on it. Overall, it was a great experience.

Drive through a long ride. Just what we needed. Good value. Friendly. We enjoyed a very relaxed meal. The pork pliers and the liver were both pleasant. A dangerous selection of desserts. Beer selection slightly weak, but otherwise really great. Definitely a place to visit again.

The nostalgia of visiting here as a kid with my grandparents, I think is why I enjoy this place. The staff did mess up my food both times I went in a 4 day period. So, I was not as impressed with that or the food. But it was a family staple as a kid. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
