I believe I encountered the same issue during my last visit. I would happily give four or five stars if I didn't see any bugs.

I also found a great deal on a half-gallon of sweet tea.

During my visit, the staff did not appear very welcoming. The stainless steel fixtures had smudges and seemed dirty, and the restaurant's floors were sticky. Th... read more During my visit, the staff did not appear very welcoming. The stainless steel fixtures had smudges and seemed dirty, and the restaurant's floors were sticky. The drink area also looked like it could use a thorough cleaning. I noticed an employee passing by some trash on the floor as they headed to the restroom and then stepping over it again on their way back to the front counter. If the common areas are not well-maintained, I can only imagine how the kitchen might be. If I were in charge, I would encourage the staff to focus on cleaning rather than chatting. I visited around noon, and the sparse number of customers may reflect the restaurant's overall condition. On a positive note, I have no complaints about the food—it was quite good.

The cashier quoted me a total of $18 without explaining that the $5 price was for the biscuits without cheese. She also didn’t provide me with a total and simply asked me to pull up to the window. There was no offer for condiments or my receipt, and she didn’t say thank you or you're welcome. Overall, it was a very unprofessional experience. The cashier’s name was T____a.

If you're experiencing staffing shortages (which seems likely since there were only two employees present), consider paying your staff better or treating them more fairly so that you can maintain an adequate number of personnel to properly serve your customers.
