Hadn't been here for ages mostly due to Covid. Met a friend for lunch here and was pleasantly surprised to see they were offering a brunch menu as well as their regular menu. I had the eggs Benedict and she had the frittata. Both were excellent in taste and presentation. Hot, fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced as we each enjoyed a meal, a cocktail and dessert for $51 all in. I'll definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Point:
Went there for breakfast, was hoping for exceptional food. Was really let down, food was very inedible. I had the eggs Benny with smoked salmon, the whole presentation was not the best, but I forgive that, if the food is great, but it wasn't, very bland. View all feedback.
My partner and I have visited this restaurant a few times over the years and were pleasantly surprised by the food but disappointed by the service. However, when we went tonight (February 4th, 2019), we were extremely disappointed. Firstly, the service was terrible. The food tasted like a microwave TV dinner. My partner ordered the Pad Thai with fried noodles, which were brown, slimy, and clearly frozen. It was impossible to tell the difference between the vegetables because they were all so bland. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu, which was served burnt on the bottom. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
We were recommended The Point by a resident of WL, so we decided to stop there for dinner on our way to the coast. It was an excellent choice! The prices were great and the food and service were both top-notch. We will definitely make this a regular stop whenever we pass through WL.
The restaurant was not good and overpriced. The food was not good quality, but the service was good.
Mediocre service, moderate eating, overpriced. they have dined here several times, since it is one of the few in wl at the weekend about 9 o'clock open. I'm disappointed every time. four of us were there in the other night for dinner and our eating took almost an hour (in a non-very busty restaurant), and not even during our waiting period our server offered to hide all alcohol-free drinks that sit on our table. when our food finally came, so did a new icestee for one of our party. When we had ordered, we were told that the kitchen ran out of the posted special, along with kartoffels. I would think kartoffel with maische would be a basic food in every kitchen, and maybe more could be prepared...read more
Forgot to mention. Our service was top tier as well. No I don't work there I'm just happy to finally find a place up here to eat that isn't hohum or horrible. We both had amazing pasta dishes. I'm not a small man and I was full 05 Sep, 2010 Easily the most upscale restraint in Williams Lake. The prices are well within reason and the food is great. Can't beat the decor and ambiance. Easily the most big city restraunt in this puddle.
