This is one of two nice restaurants we've found for dinner on a Sunday in Williams Lake. There were only a few tables on the go and one waitress, She was attentive, friendly, and efficient, you shouldn't ask for anything more. My wife had the special rack of lamb and I had the seafood cannelloni. Both were well prepared and are recommended. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. View all feedback.

I was staying at the Ramada and had dinner at Carmens. I had the Calamari Dinner and thought it was good. My associate had the spaghetti and he enjoyed it as well. Service was excellent.
First off I would like to say, train your staff. Train them on etiquette. Train them how to make drinks. Train them on how to be present instead of socializing. Train them how to make drinks. Train them to properly clean dishes. Train the hotel clerk to present a pleasant smile upon entering the building instead of a crass scowl. Train your staff. (And get your cooks out of the dining area...they are taking away the staff from helping tables...you could have made money on an extra round of drinks)So over the years I have eaten at many fine establishments. I have also eaten at my fair share of poor ones. Carmens...well...not sure I know how to categorize this place! You charge for garlic toast. Are you kidding me? I have NEVER been to a restaurant and ordered pasta and had to PAY for my garlic toast. Are you guys that hard up? Your pasta could lose the 1/2 cup of oil... that's just absurd.Your steak...well from reading other reviews we should have been prepared for a poor outcome... I don't like chewing on flavourless cowhide. You serve your Greek salad on greens.. well that isn't very Mediterranean of you. That's trashy and makes you look cheap...Your tzatziki needs a major improvement. Try Pinterest there's a few good recipes. Furthermore, invest in some better desserts because the boxed cake that tastes like rotten milk and cardboard isn't doing you any good. We were told to visit you for dinner from one of your previous employers... I wish we didn't ask. Had we complained to the server or owner that was nosing around I doubt much would have been done since the couple beside us said their daughter had been in and had a worse experience and was actually scolded by the male cook.
We came back, and decided that have the lasagna. It was worth waiting for it, and also thinking about it. It was excellent, everything we expected and more
Great appetizers in this restaurant. Loved the mushroom caps. Service was good. Wanted the cannelloni but was told there wasn't enough (at 6:15 on a Saturday night? Poor planning). Had the chicken parmigiana, which was so-so. Both men had and enjoyed the seafood stew. Loved the cheesecake dessert. Will definitely return. Great setting upstairs by the window.
