What User doesn't like about Rose Garden:
has some vegan options and eating tasted ok. nothing special, not very authentic, expensive. they were not willing to mix and fit on my request (which is of course her right), so had to adapt to the very limited options they had, e.g. mock ente curry, which should be supposed to be thai, but more Indian tasted. This is expensive, as everything in the island. But they do have a variety of vegan options, meat replacements and tofu everywhere. They also serve meat :
We ordered the delivery during closing: Mock duck in black bean sauce, sommes and sweet and acidic mock chicken. The sweet and acidic chicken pieces should be scattered, but we just got the same side that was used in the mock duck shell. I was quite disappointed. The restaurant told me that they do not make vegan dough (literal flour and water, oh good) so caution when you order this dish. What the foods, other reviewers often mention the portion sizes are huge that they are if you look only on the rice because they give you a ton of it (we only ate the rice over 3 meals because we had so much of it). I'd rather have had more vegetables. Every meal (very big rice and frits and medium-sized agitator) was $19 each, which is expensive for mostly rice. Besides, the quality wasn't there. The sauces were watery and the sweet and acidic was made with chili sauce. The oil used in the frits tasted terrible and I wonder if it was roasted with meat or they only used frozen frits. In any case, I had much better Chinese food and this place unfortunately did not meet the place for me. Updated by previous rating on 2021-05-28 Updated by previous rating on 2021-05-28
Several vegetarian options but tastewise just your average chinese food

The appetizers like the Gyoza and dumplings were filled with what like frozen veggies like corn bases and green beans seemed just strange... but the ducks were big and huge portions. We recommend the sweet and sour ink. Yus
