We stopped at the Willard Kentucky Fried Chicken for a quick meal as we began our vacation. The food was delicious, and just as we were about to leave, I realized I had forgotten my purse. Thankfully, one of the employees came outside just as we were pulling away to ask if I had left it behind. I am incredibly grateful to her for her honesty; our vacation could have been ruined without it. Thank you!
I ordered a 16-piece meal that included two mashed potatoes with gravy, two corn servings, two mac and cheese, two coleslaw, biscuits, blackberry sweet tea, and a cake. However, I didn't receive the cake, biscuits, or gravy, and the food was cold and unappetizing. The total came to $84. When I called to complain, they offered me a gift certificate for KFC. However, I don't see the point in going back to a place that messed up my order so badly and couldn't even pack the correct items.
We hadn't visited this restaurant in a while, but after seeing some positive posts about improvements, we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I ordered an 8-piece meal and a 5-piece big box. The Pepsi tasted like water, the biscuits were doughy, the fries were so hard they were inedible, and the chicken tenders had very little meat, mostly just crust. I tried calling to speak with someone I thought was the manager to express my concerns, but when I asked for their name, they hung up on me. I called back, but no one answered. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Given the prices we pay for the food, it's disappointing that it was so poorly prepared and that there was no effort to rectify the issue. In the past, they had promised a voucher for problems we encountered, but we never received one.
